中国小说理论史 简介：
这部书从小说概念初生，写到现代小说理论形成之前，总结了我国小说理论的方方面面。近年来，学术界对古代小说理论的研究发展很快，成果累累。本书在这些研究成果的基础上，进行宏观的总体性研究，阐明各时期思想文化的背景，分析在这背景下小说理论的不同形态、不同蕴涵，并结合小说创作的倾向，来提示中国小说理论的发展规律。这对于全面深入地认识我们民族小说理论的特色以及进一步把握中国文艺思想的独到之外，都将是有裨益的。
*后说明两点：一、本书所述，上自战国“小说”一词出现，下迄清末辛亥革命止。二、由于理论的传承流变不能完全刻年计月地描述，故本书某些章节的编排不严格遵守时序。
This book summarizes all aspects of China’s novel theory from the birth of the concept of novel to the formation of modern novel theory. In recent years, the academic research on ancient novel theory has developed rapidly and achieved fruitful results. On the basis of these research results, this book makes a macro overall research, expounds the ideological and cultural background of each period, analyzes the different forms and implications of novel theory under this background, and prompts the development law of Chinese novel theory in combination with the tendency of novel creation. This will be beneficial to a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the characteristics of our national novel theory and further grasp the originality of Chinese literary and artistic thought.
*Two points will be explained later: first, as described in this book, from the emergence of the word “novel” in the Warring States period to the revolution of 1911 in the late Qing Dynasty. 2、 Because the inheritance and evolution of theory can not be completely described by years and months, the arrangement of some chapters in this book does not strictly follow the sequence.

中国小说理论史 作者：

Chen Hong: Professor and doctoral supervisor of Nankai University, member of the Communist Party of China. Born in Tianjin in June 1948 in Qixia County, Shandong Province, he was admitted to Nankai University for postgraduate study in October 1978. He graduated as a graduate student in 1981 with a master’s degree and stayed in the university to teach. He served as the director of the teaching and Research Office of ancient Chinese literature in 1985, was promoted to associate professor in 1988 and professor in 1991.
